How To Commission A Map-

Maps are beautiful representations of a person's journeys, discoveries and dreams.  Each map is hand-painted on canvas.  I work with each client to come up with the ideal map to showcase their trip. I include any details that make the location special for the client, such as hiking routes, dates, names, illustrations from souvenirs, etc.  They are accurate depictions of the location, with added historical details.  All correspondence is usually done over the phone or via e-mail, but a studio visit can be arranged for anyone in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area.  After initial discussions, I make a sketch of the final layout for approval by the client.  It then takes six to eight weeks for completion of the painted map.

The paintings may be displayed either framed by the client or left unframed.  They are an ideal gift for a wedding or anniversary, for the traveler who has everything, and as a bold artwork for the home or office.

Sizes vary, depending on the client's wishes, but a typical map is approximately 2 ft by 3 ft.
The price for a map starts at $2200 plus shipping and handling ($750 deposit is due at placement of order, with the remainder due upon delivery of artwork to you).

Simply call or email me, then mail your photo and I will create a unique oil painting that will be a lasting reminder of your wonderful vacation or residence.  I specialize in landscapes and architectural detail.  An oil painting can be made to any size and are priced, depending on complexity, between $1500-$2500, for any size up to 36" X 36"-- plus shipping and handling ($750 deposit at placement of order, with the remainder due upon delivery of artwork to you).   Larger paintings or murals are priced upon consultation.
